Natural Justice is a Cape Town-based environmental and human rights law organisation committed to harnessing the law to create healthy and safe living environments for African communities. The organisation works across Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa to support indigenous and local community participation in decisions affecting their lands and resources. Key programs include the Environmental Lawyers Collective for Africa (ELCA), community protocols for traditional knowledge protection, and advocacy on rights of nature legal frameworks. Natural Justice engages with international environmental law processes and provides technical guidance to governments and communities on climate and environmental governance.
